Common questions

What is Peri Log?
Peri Log is a mobile web app for tracking perimenopausal symptoms over 90 days. It combines a one-minute daily check-in with self-care guidance for nine common symptoms, and it doubles as the data-collection instrument for a doctoral research study.
What is perimenopause?
Perimenopause is the natural transition phase before menopause, usually starting in a woman's 40s, when shifting hormone levels can bring symptoms like hot flashes, disturbed sleep, mood changes, and joint aches. It's a normal stage of life — and tracking it daily helps you understand your own pattern.
Who can join the study?
Participation is by invitation from the research team. If you've been invited, create your account with the details you shared with the researcher, read the consent information, and you're ready to begin your 90 days.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your responses are stored securely, used only for this research, and reported only in anonymised, aggregate form — nothing published can identify you. You can withdraw at any time from inside the app, and no further data is collected after you do.
Do I need to download it from an app store?
No. Peri Log runs in your browser and can be saved to your home screen — no app store, no downloads, no updates to manage. See the steps above.
